THE 2007 PEARL AWARDS
The Pearl Foundation, together with David Tang OBE and Patron
of The Pearl Awards are glad to announce that this year's awards will be
held on Thursday, November 1st at the Royal Festival Hall from 6.30pm.
Further
information on nominations, tickets to attend, format of the event, VIP
guests, etc will be available from 1st September.
This
year's Pearl Awards promises to be bigger, better and will do the UK Chinese
community proud. So, watch this space.
The Pearl Foundation, David Tang and China Now Fundraising
Reception
The Pearl Foundation, David Tang and China Now hosted a
reception on
Friday 15 June at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.
Over a hundred guests attended to show their support for
homegrown UK Chinese talent and £22,300 was raised
as a beginning of sponsorship for UK Chinese events and performances
for China Now in 2008.

The Pearl Foundation, David Tang and China Now Reception
The Pearl Foundation, David Tang and China Now hosted a
reception attended by the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, on
Wednesday 28 March at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.
A private film screening of Zhang Yimou's Oscar-nominated
film "The Curse of the Golden Flower", sponsored
by Universal Pictures also followed at the Soho Hotel.

A week to experience the distinctive tastes and flavours of Chinese foods. Events
include food demos and tasting; cooking competition; Products demos; celebrity
chefs; Special menus at selected top London restaurants, etc. All events open
to general public.
